Discipleship is the lifelong work of learning the way of Jesus and becoming more fully formed in the likeness of Christ.

Each week, we gather:

• to be shaped by the Word,
• aligned by the Spirit,
• and sent with purpose.

This is not merely a Bible study.

It is a space of becoming. Formation does not begin or end on Wednesday. It continues in worship, prayer, service, relationships, generosity, study, witness, community, and the ordinary decisions through which we learn to follow Jesus

At New Unity, we believe the Church is called not merely to gather people—
but to equip them.

DTBS exists as a sacred space of formation:
where faith deepens,
vision sharpens,
and people are prepared for the work of the Kingdom.

The Journey of Formation

Formation is a lifelong work of grace.

We are continually being shaped by Scripture, transformed through encounter with Christ, reordered by the Spirit, and prepared to live faithfully in the world.

At New Unity, discipleship asks more than, “What do I know?”

It also asks:
Who am I becoming?
What is God forming in me?
What must I unlearn?
How is my faith becoming visible in the way I live, love, serve, give, forgive, seek justice, and walk with others?
