Deacon Denise Pailin
Dean, Christian Education Development
Greetings Beloved,
Thank you for stopping by our Christian Education Development's Staff Page. We want you to know that we have some of the very best teachers, tutors and instructors that the Kingdom has to offer anywhere.
The Vision And Mission Of The Christian Education Development Ministry Is To Equip, Empower, And Enlighten The Church Through Consistent, On-Going Study And Teaching Of God's Word, The Holy Bible.
This year's journey (2024- 2025) will be one of the greatest we've ever offered. Like me, many of our teachers are downright giddy about this year's learning cycle.
So, whether you are a youngster or a bit 'seasoned' like myself just jump aboard, grab a chair and 'let's get ready to rumble, tumble and grow together in the Word of God'
I spent the majority of my adult career in the banking/finance industry and you can take it from me that there is no finer investment anywhere than studying the glorious Word of God - the ROI (Return on Investment) is simply out of this world!
I enjoy sewing, shopping at consignment shops and spending 'honey-love' time with my husband, daughters and 5 awesome grandchildren. Exploring the vast world around me revitalizes my mind and my spirit - what an awesome Creator God is!
I sure hope that you and I will bump into each other somewhere this season. Who knows, perhaps we can share family photos and a good laugh along the way.
The Lord's richest grace to you - His Chosen, His Royal, His Holy, and Peculiar (1 Peter 2:9).
Deacon Inell Colvin
Karios Kingdom Adult Class, Lead Teacher
Hello Everyone,
I am Inell Colvin, newest staff member of the Christian Education Development Ministry (CEDM).
I taught classes at the elementary school level for nearly 50 years! And now I am (more than) ready to put all of that energy and training to work in our wonderful CED Ministry with the adults, both male and female.
I'm asked all the time "Where'd you get that unique name of yours from?" And my reply never changes, "My momma gave it to me!" (I'm told that I have a very keen sense of humor and I love laughing, smiling, and bringing joy to others).
Some years ago, when my husband, Oddis, passed I was left to raise our young son alone. Today, he is married and pastoring in the great city of Detroit, Michigan. He and his wife have gifted me with 2 outstanding grandsons. What a life!
Today, my life is about a rich as ever. I am needed and I am excited to be alive. So many, many blessings in my life and I'm sharing my gifts with the world.
Chosen. Royal, Holy, Peculiar. (1 Peter 2:9).

Hi Everybody,
Chosen, Royal, Holy, Peculiar (1 Peter 2:9).
Deacons Phillip & Tamera Randolph, Sr.
Co-Instructors, Deacons Discovery Class
Hello Everyone,
We're Phillip & Tamera Randolph but in the New Unity Church we're also affectionately known as "Aquila & Priscilla" co-laborers in the gospel ministry of Jesus Christ (Romans 16: 3 & 4)..
My strong and handsome "Phil" is all so smarter than smart, and he says that when he first saw me 40+ years ago, it was simply "love at first sight!" One thing for sure we both fell in love with Jesus and all these many years later with Him we're still growing in the spirit of agape love.
We're blessed to teach the lay leaders, the deacons, of the church. Such an abundantly talented group they are! At times, they teach us in ways known and unknown. How mutually blessed we are!
Chosen; Royal; Holy, and Peculiar (1 Peter 2:9).

Hello Everyone,
I love What I do!
As an accountant by trade I know the value of good recording keeping. So many people spend hours and hours of frustration getting ready for the annual tax season. Much of it has to do with sloppy record keeping.
I have a fiduciary responsibility to make sure that my client's tax reports are honest and accurate. And if they're ever called in for an audit I am right there to skillfully guide them during the process.
One day when our work here on earth is done each of us will have to stand be the "Great Auditor of Life." When He asks "what did you do with the life that I gave you?" each of us must answer accurately and honestly.
As in my profession, my job is not to answer the question for my clients but to make sure that they are equipped and fully prepared to respond.
So, it is with my students, preparing them for life's lessons and explaining how the calculus of 1+1+1 equals 3, the holy trinity, and yet it still remains 1.
Good recording keeping, the Holy Bible, has proven this over and over and over again. You can count on it.
Like I said, Folks, I love what I do!
Chosen; Royal; Holy, and Peculiar (1 Peter 2:9).
Deacon Rhonda C. Thomas
Potters Primary Class, Lead Teacher
Good Day All,
I work at one of the leading medical facilities in the world. We have nurses, physicians, staff, and world renown specialist in virtually every department.
I am a teacher and also the Lead Usher here at New Unity. Serving others is my calling. Over the many years that I have worked at the hospital I have witnessed many miracles.
I know that God uses his creatures and his creation to bless the world over.
I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 10! My family and I all love worshipping and serving at the New Unity Baptist Church. My entire family mean so much to me.
My middle daughter is in the finals of her Nursing Studies - pray with me, won't you, that she'll become world renown as the kindest, most helpful nursing provider the world over - it's a Mother's Prayer - and I do still believe in miracles.
