🕊️ A Community Prayer Gathering: A Call To  Lift Every Child

In an age of uncertainty, where violence breaches playgrounds, anxiety shadows classrooms, and safety is no longer assumed, we must do more than speak—we must pray.

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 12:00 noon, we are inviting all people of faith and conscience—churches, mosques, synagogues, temples, and sacred gatherings of every tradition—to unite as one body, one voice, and one shield of intercession. We will gather on the grounds of Hamilton Elementary/Middle School (6101 Old Harford Road, Baltimore 21214) to lift a collective covering of prayer over our children—those returning to school, those playing in parks, attending parties, practicing on courts, and simply being children in this fractured world.

We are calling forth:

• Families large and small

• Guardians and grandparents

• Educators, elders, and everyday neighbors

• Even those without school-aged children—but with hearts that break for what we are becoming

Come, stand with us. Come, sing and speak with us. Come, weep and war in the Spirit with us.

Let this be more than a moment—let it be a movement. A sacred chorus of hope. A hedge of holy resistance. A covenant cry to the heavens that our children shall live and not die, to declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).

Bring your faith. Bring your folded hands. Bring your tambourines and tears, your prayers and presence.

Let every house of worship become one sanctuary—stretching across denominations, zip codes, and differences. Let every voice become one holy sound.
