About New Unity Baptist Church
Rooted in Baltimore. Rising in Spirit. Reaching toward Heaven’s vision.
Who We Are: The New Unity Nation
“The nation we must build is the one Heaven has spoken.”
New Unity Nation is our declaration of faith: a Kingdom vision that transcends divisions, resists injustice, and builds a holy nation of believers equipped to serve. More than a mere gathering—it is a living witness to what God has spoken. Our mission is to equip the people of God for the work of the Kingdom and to embody a holy nation where justice, mercy, and love flow like living waters.

Our Story
Founded in 1916, New Unity has stood for over a century as a witness of faith and perseverance. From beginnings in Baltimore’s northeast corridor to our present ministry on Hamilton Avenue, we have been a church of resilience, renewal, and rootedness in the Spirit.
Through seasons of struggle and triumph, we have held to the conviction that God is faithful, and that the church must be both sanctuary and servant in the world.
